Acrostic: Bobby
BOBBY
Bushy
brows draw together as the old man draws paint
Over the wood – he tried to
make his shaking hand glide smoothly.
Both
the paint and the brush left a squiggly line,
By
the look of his face
You
knew he was not pleased with his efforts.

I love this... It seems like it could be gimmicky, using the first letters, but it captures a real sweetness and genuineness in him. Nice!
Really lovely and thanks for reminding me of the meaning of the word!
Great acrostic! Such a sweet capture of a very special person, I'm sure.
Thanks so much for the comments on my first attempt at writing an acrostic ~ I loved the process!
Elizabeth, I am so glad you saw the sweetness and genuineness in him.
And Gypsy, you're welcome! I have just this week learned of an acrostic poem, thanks to Laurie Kolp.
And to Laurie, thanks for cheering me on. And yes, Bobby is My Scrooge!
